There is no better time to gain some extra skills than before you start the school year.

  • Learn how to manage your time
  • Bring your laptop along and learn how to use it like a professional
  • Develop your ability to locate and present information
  • Add to your resume to help you get a part time job
  • You may even gain QCE points before you go back to school

About the program

The school holiday program has been designed for high school students to gain skills to help find a part-time job and to build skills and knowledge to make studying less stressful.

We have included a Certificate II in Tourism (SIT20116) in the program, because it enables us to include units such as:

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • Construction White Card

Attendance

Students are required to attend two weeks of face-to-face workshops. Our workshops include activities, games puzzles and excursions as students learn using a hands on practical approach. Students must attend both weeks 1 and 2

Monday 17th December to Friday 21st December 2018

Week 2

Monday 14th January to Friday 18th January 2019

Queensland Government VETiS funded course

Students enrolled in a Queensland High School or a registered homeschooler may be eligible for a fully funded place, as such no fees will be charged.
